Leszy is a universal in-ear monitor handcrafted in Poznań, Poland. It has five drivers per side, aluminium shells anodised in dark forest green, and a faceplate with an inlay of natural Polish wood from trees that grow about 30 km from our workshop.

The Legend
In old Slavic tales, every forest had its guardian. The Polish called him Leszy.
He watched over the trees and the creatures that lived among them. Those who entered with respect could pass safely beneath his branches. Those who did not might hear a familiar voice calling from somewhere deeper in the woods, and discover that the path home had disappeared.
These stories have travelled through generations, but for us, the forest has never felt distant. It begins just beyond Poznań, not far from our workshop.
The wood shaped into every Leszy faceplate comes from those same forests: no two pieces identical, each carrying its own grain, its own character and a fragment of the place it came from.
Leszy is our way of sharing that story. Designed and handcrafted in Poland, every pair carries something of our landscape, our folklore and the quiet, untamed nature that shaped us. Our piece of home, made to travel with those who listen.
Sound
The blur clears, and every piece of the mix steps into its own place.
Leszy took twelve months of prototyping, and its tuning is rooted in that same forest. Stand still among the trees and the noise fades, but what you hear is not silence. You begin to locate things instead: a bird to your left, a creaking branch behind, whispering wind above. Good IEMs does the same to a recording.
Leszy follows the Craft Ears house sound, with more character. Compared with the rest of our line it is more dynamic, lively and engaging, and it has more energy.

Drivers and acoustics
Five drivers per side. Four-way passive crossover.
Five drivers per side work through a four-way passive crossover on a PCB: a 9.2 mm LSR dynamic driver for the bass, three balanced armatures covering the low mids, mids and high mids, and a 6 mm round planar magnetic driver, made for Craft Ears, for the treble and air.

SES 4.0™
SES 4.0™ is our acoustic system for the upper part of the spectrum. The planar driver works into a horn, and alongside it sit three resonators, a mix of quarter-wave and Helmholtz types, which shape the upper midrange and the high frequencies.
True Load Evo™
True Load Evo™ gives Leszy an impedance curve that is close to flat, but deliberately not entirely flat. It was designed this way, so that the IEMs respond predictably to changes of cable and source.
Build
Aluminium, Polish wood, bronze and copper.
Shell
The shells are aluminium, machined on advanced 5-axis CNC machines, then anodised in dark forest green colour with a satin-finished surface. Inside, precisely designed inserts printed on state-of-the-art 3D printers integrate the drivers, the acoustic chambers, sound tubes of variable length and diameter, and the resonators.
Faceplate
The faceplate is metal, machined with a precise high-tech pattern, and joins the shell seamlessly. Set into it is an inlay of natural Polish wood from trees that grow about 30 km from our workshop in Poznań, Poland, where every pair is handcrafted. The Craft Ears logo on the wood is gold.
Nozzle
The nozzles are made from a special bronze alloy that is more resistant to patina and oxidation than ordinary bronze, so they keep their look for a long time.
Cable
The cable is 8-core OCC in its natural copper colour, with a 4.4 mm balanced plug and 0.78 mm 2-pin connectors.
